Ruth Sorenson (née Burgess) is married to Stan Sorenson, and is Kendra and Seth Sorenson’s grandmother. She previously taught college history, and is an expert masseuse, having been taught by Lena. Ruth is missing from the first part of Fablehaven, and Stan says that she is away visiting a relative, that being Aunt Edna.
